I'm a fan of other Becca products but I haven't gotten this yet. Is it easy to go really overboard with this and look almost clown-ish? And if you do go overboard, how easy is it to fix it? Do you have to basically start over with your makeup in that area or is it fairly easy to either rub off/cover up?

It is easy to go overboard with it, but it's just as easy to blend it out! :)
BECCA Cosmetics
The liquid formula is very versatile and easy to use. It does not make the skin look cakey and imparts a natural, radiant glow.

My favorite way to use this is to actually mix it in with my foundation. It gives my skin an allover dewy glow, without going overboard on the gleam.

This product is very pigmented so I would say yes it is kind of easy to go overboard if you are applying it over your foundation. However, it is very easy to blend out if you are using a beauty blender or some makeup sponge!

To avoid looking too shiny I would recommend putting this under foundation but it honestly looks good over foundation too and if you feel you have gone overboard then you could put some translucent powder over it

You just add it over liquid foundation before setting with powder (your skin tone powder match will tone in doen compared to a lighter powder) and blend with damp beauty blender or your fingers. I also just add this on my bare face- top of cheekbones and down nose to get a subtle glow. If I want extra glam, to add intensity I would use this underneath and top with the matching pressed powder highlighter (night out look).
