I have been regularly wearing Bath and Body Works’ Pumpkin Cupcake Fine Fragrance Mist for several months now. While I’m definitely a fan, I can’t exactly say that this is my forever fragrance. I will probably not repurchase it after this bottle is through. There are simply one too many issues that I cannot get past.
However, I don’t want to give the wrong impression about its scent. It is exactly what it says it is. There’s a strong vanilla front note like that of a freshly-iced cupcake. A bit of a spice underneath, too. I haven’t had any problems with the formula staining my clothes or leaving oily spots on my skin. It dries down really nice. Very subtle. I can’t complain on these fronts.
It’s just not for me. I find the scent to be dreadfully artificial. An almost waxy smell. Like that of an open crayon box. It’s too sweet of a fragrance on first sniff and too subtle of a fragrance a few minutes later. It does not wear very well.
Nonetheless, I probably will continue to use the Pumpkin Cupcake Mist until its bottle is empty. It’s a very fun scent. Really makes you feel like it’s autumn without being too obtrusive. I would wear it just about anywhere. Ultimately, I feel like I’ve gotten my money’s worth out of this one.
This is by far my favorite Bath & Body Works fragrance! It’s sweet in the best way; some people have mistaken it for the Warm Vanilla Sugar scent, so they are similar, but this scent is even better! To me it really does smell like a pumpkin cupcake with frosting. It actually makes me a bit hungry.
This perfume smells like I just walked into a bakery, which is a little bit strong and it’s super super sweet but I kind of love the scent of it if I’m going out like I would not wear this, but maybe if I’m going to event, this would be a perfect perfume for some thing that like I want to smell sweet for I feel like this would be a perfect scent for the fall because it’s pretty light and airy, but still smells super sweet and strong
