- "This product is very light and goes on smoothly. I don't feel like I need a lot of product to get the job done. With the ingredients in BareMineral products, I feel comfortable having the product on skin as sensitive as an eyelid. The color is great; it grabs the light perfectly and creates a different glow at different angles..but not a shimmer or glittery look so it still looks natural, sophisticated, and classic. I am so glad that I decided to give this bareMinerals loose eyeshadow a second try. Are used it once with my usual eyeshadow primer (LA Girl High Definition Eye Shadow Primer White 3 Pcs) and the results were awful. By early afternoon I already had major creasing and it just looked like a mess. It wouldn’t reblend with a brush either, which I usually can do with other eyeshadows if I forget to primer first and it gets creased. Being that it is such a beautiful color, and so pigmented with a beautiful shine, I wanted to find a way to make this product work for me. I decided to give it a go a few days later with a different primer (Milani Eyeshadow Primer) and this time the eyeshadow was amazing. The eyeshadow lasted all day with no problems. There was zero creasing and it stayed super pigmented. As with any loose powder, you need to apply it differently or otherwise you will have tons of fall out and make a big mess. The best way to use this product is to put just a bit on the brush and then tap it out. After tapping it out, press the brush with the powder on it onto your eyelid, don’t wipe the brush around. That’s what’s going to create fallout. As long as you use the right primer, and press the brush to pack the eyeshadow on, it will work wonderfully.
My ABSOLUTE go to loose eyeshadow is the "2000" silverish eyeshadow from "BAREMINERALS". You can use it wet or dry and it stays on a lot longer than other shadows of other brands. I personally use it wet because to me, the color is alot more intense and creamy!!!!

This is the only loose eyeshadow product that I own. It’s light and blendable. My favorite color is peacock, which I’m not sure is made anymore. I like using a concealer to prime the eyelid over eyelid primer. I get the color payoff without feeling sticky.

I love these colors, but I get so much fallout from these loose powders it makes me not want to use them. Especially with the darker color, it's really hard to be precise. That said, the colors are really lovely and stay on pretty well once I can get them where I want them.
I got this eyeshadow in the color motivate and I like it for night time looks because it’s a light glittery purple that catches light really well. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it has a lot of fall out and overall there’s a lot of other eyeshadows that are better than this one, but i would suggest these if you’re just learning makeup.

I have lots of shades of the loose mineral eye shadow. A little bit goes a long way and these last a long time. They are a little pricey and I wish they made more minis of some of the colors as I don’t always want to commit to the larger size since you don’t need much at any time.
I was on a huge bareMineral loose shadow kick when they first came out and have quite a good-sized collection. They really are great quality. They blend easily and have good pigmentation.
