As someone who cares about sound quality and Hi-Fi audio, I did not expect the Cisco Bang & Olufsen 980 wireless over-ear headset to impress me as much as it did. Most work headsets focus purely on communication and sacrifice sound quality, but this one actually delivers a listening experience that feels much closer to a consumer Hi-Fi headphone. The first thing that stands out is the sound signature. It's clean, balanced, and detailed. The tuning leans slightly warm, which makes voices during calls sound natural and fatigue-free. When listening to music between meetings, the headset performs surprisingly well - mids are clear, bass is controlled rather than bloated, and highs are smooth without harshness. It's not going to replace dedicated audiophile headphones, but for a work headset it's honestly impressive. Comfort is another strong point. The ear cushions are soft and spacious, and the weight feels well distributed, which matters if you wear headphones for hours during calls or while focusing on work. I can easily keep them on through long meetings without discomfort. The microphone performance is excellent as well. My voice sounds clear and present on calls, and background noise is handled well, which is important in a busy home office environment. Build quality feels premium too. The aluminum accents and overall design give it that typical Bang & Olufsen craftsmanship, while still being practical enough for everyday work use. Overall, the Cisco B&O 980 headset strikes a rare balance: professional communication features combined with genuinely good audio quality. For someone like me who values Hi-Fi sound but also spends hours on calls, it's a headset that finally doesn't feel like a compromise.

When you handle the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H8, it’s immediately obvious that you’re dealing with premium, legacy audio hardware. In a market flooded with creaky plastic headphones, the build quality here is unmatched. The frame is crafted from solid, anodized aluminum, the headband is wrapped in durable cowhide, and the ear pads are made from incredibly soft memory foam covered in lambskin leather. It looks and feels like a luxury piece of tech, and the aesthetics alone put most modern wireless headphones to shame. The touch interface on the right aluminum earcup is a brilliant design choice. Instead of fumbling for physical buttons, you just swipe or tap the metal surface to control volume, skip tracks, or toggle the Active Noise Cancelling. It takes a day to get used to, but once you learn the gestures, it feels incredibly intuitive and keeps the silhouette of the headphones completely sleek and minimal. The ANC itself is highly effective, especially at drowning out low-frequency hums like AC units or airplane engines, allowing the signature B&O sound profile to really shine. The audio is incredibly rich, with a surprisingly punchy bass that doesn't muddy the crisp mids and highs. From a longevity standpoint, the H8 has a feature that is practically extinct today: a user-replaceable lithium-ion battery. Instead of throwing the headphones away when the battery eventually degrades, you can simply swap it out, which is a massive win. The only real caveat with these headphones is the fit. Because they are an 'on-ear' design rather than 'over-ear,' and the lambskin leather is so smooth, they don't have a vice-like grip on your head. If you lean over quickly or try to use these for a workout, they will absolutely slide off. These are strictly for sitting at a desk, studying, or a relaxed commute. If you use them in their intended environment, they are a phenomenal, beautiful piece of audio gear.

The Bang & Pulse headset exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I put them on, I was impressed by the comfort and premium feel. The sound quality is phenomenal—deep bass, crisp highs, and excellent balance across the board. Whether I’m gaming, taking calls, or just enjoying music, the audio is immersive and incredibly clear. The noise isolation is top-notch, and the mic delivers sharp, clear voice quality, even in noisy environments. Battery life is impressive too—I can go days without recharging. Stylish, comfortable, easy to carry around and performance-driven, this headset is an absolute win. Very durable. Highly recommended for both casual users and serious audio lovers.
