My first time trying this meal from stouffers and it is pretty decent for what you get! The chicken is nice and tender and not chewy or rubbery like it can be in some other frozen dinners. The gravy has a nice flavor to it and adds a nice touch to the chicken and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes are okay, they aren't my favorite but they have a decent taste but they aren't as creamy as I would like them to be. But what can I say they are in a frozen dinner so they can't be perfect. It is a decent portion, and pretty filling. Overall, not bad for a stouffers frozen dinner! Not my favorite but I have had way worse!

I tried this Stouffer's baked chicken with gravy and mashed potatoes for the first time. I really liked this meal. I had read other reviews and some didn't like it. That's why people should to try it for themselves. Everyone has different taste buds to foods. I added a little butter to the mashed potatoes. Like some others said they did. I usually don't like instant mashed potatoes, but these were pretty decent. The chicken breast was very tender and didn't taste like rubber. I've tried some frozen meals where the chicken tasted like that and I had to toss it out. I was very surprised at how good the gravy was. It was very flavorful but it was a little too salty. I see why the meal has so much sodium in it. That would be the only negative thing I would say about this dinner. I liked that this meal gives you 21 g of protein. It only has 260 calories. So not bad for a quick hot lunch or dinner. Especially when your too tired to cook.

These were on sale for a good price at my local store. I enjoy frozen meals because they make a quick and easy lunch, however I am trying to eat low carb and I'm trying to avoid preservatives. I looked over the ingredients on many different varieties and this was the one I ended up choosing to buy. It has fewer carbs and is fairly clean, with basically just potatoes and chicken and a bit of gravy. I try to make it healthier by cutting up some additional fresh vegetables into it before microwaving to eat.
