It's ok. I never really felt I found a comfortable fit, even after having someone else help and watching video instructions. I had to exchange my first one for a larger size. The size system makes you need 2 versions for mom and dad to baby wear. We wound up getting baby carrier that we adjust to fit my husband and myself.
My son has a very warm body and he did not like being in this carrier. My body plus his body plus the fabric made him sweat at times. I know other people who used this carrier and their baby loved it, but My child did not enjoy it. I wish he would if because I love the way the k'tan looks.
Love this as a usable alternative to the moby. I just couldn't get situated with the moby and baby. I can easily get baby in and out of the ktan on my own. Haven't yet used with a larger than infant child but there are online tutorials for those that I'll try as baby grows.
I wasn't a fan of this carrier. Sizing is kind of hard. It says to choose pre-preg weight, but it just never seemed to fit right. My son would cry in it every time, but loved other wraps and carriers.
This wrap was perfect when my baby was a newborn/smaller. Only for short uses though. I used it on one grocery shopping trip when she was 2 months (12 lbs) and my lower back was hurting for a few days following. I think it's because it does not distribute weight evenly.
My first dd lived in my ktan. It was such a relief to have something that she would sleep quietly in- reflux baby. My newest dd wants nothing to do with t so j got a Lille baby.
I loved my K'tan! I used it from birth until my son was about 6 months old and I started to use my Tula! I loved the wrap style and that it was super easy to put on! My son always fell right asleep in it. I recommend it to everyone who is pregnant
This baby carrier is like the moby, but easier to use. My son practically lived in this for thefirst 3 months. Where it sits does not affect c section scars. Once your child is around 3 months it is usually time to switch to another carrier
I wouldn't recommend purchasing one until after you deliver. I was a small before baby but am still trying to get back to where I was. I ordered a small but because I haven't lost all my baby weight it doesn't fit properly.
I love my ktan. It is super comfortable and easy to use. The instructions it comes with aren't that great but I looked up videos on youtube and that worked. I like that it can be used for a newborn too up to 25 pounds I think.
