I was introduced to this gentle cleanser after having a halo laser resurfacing treatment on my face. It really helped my skin recover and feel more comfortable with dryness and irritation until my skin was fully healed. I still enjoy using this cleanser, especially when my skin becomes dry, flaking, or irritated. It is very soothing and refreshing to my skin. It has no fragrance and does not foam, but still cleans my face really well without drying out my skin and did not cause me to break out.

After a terrible sunburn last year, my skin was beyond sensitive, and I had to be really careful with everything I put on it. My skin was crying for anything gentle, and the Avène Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleanser felt like a hug in a bottle. The texture is lovely, soft and soothing, and it cleans without making my skin scream. Knowing it’s 99% natural and fragrance-free just makes it even better. ❤️

This is such a lovely cleanser for my dry and at-times sensitive skin. The formula is really light and doesn’t burn my skin at all, unlike some other sensitive-marketed cleaners. I will typically use an oil or balm cleanser for my first cleanse and this for my second if I’m wearing makeup, or just this if not. I have repurchased many times and will continue to do so as it’s so lovely and gentle and gets the job done without causing any dryness or irritation.
