I wasn't swept away with this cleanser the way I was with the Positively Radiant one. Along with the soy proteins that Positively Radiant has, this also has salicylic acid, which is an acne fighting agent. However, the concentration is very low, at .05%, which is probably why I saw no difference in the appearance of my complexion.
One small complaint I have about the packaging is that halfway through using this product, the pump got stuck, so I wasn't able to use up the rest of the product in its entirety, so I had to throw it out. I was pretty bummed out because I didn't get my money's worth. Even though I wasn't completely satisfied with my purchase, this cleanser worked well with removing makeup, and I would just follow up with second cleanser to take care of my skincare needs.
The packaging is fine. It's nothing fancy, but it does the job. The pump usually begins to stick once you reach the last 1/4 of product, but with some finessing you can salvage it or just poor the remainder into a new bottle. Not a deal breaker for me, though. It does create an average foam, so two to three squirts per use is typically what I suggest.
It smells like a green house -- very earthy and organic. It isn't exactly pleasant, but it isn't horrible either.
This is the ONLY cleanser I've found that takes every bit of makeup, dirt, buildup, you name it off of my face. This wash is so gentle. It doesn't irritate my face, despite containing salycilic acid, and I can even use it to remove my eye makeup. It leaves my face feeling clean and fresh, never overly tight or pulled like some do.
