If you have fine or thinning hair especially if scalp buildup or oiliness is a factor, and you value a premium botanical haircare experience, this could be a strong pick. It’s expensive compared to mainstream shampoos. But if you use the entire system I think it works very well. The scent is very herbal. I personally really enjoy it.

This didn’t help much with my oily scalp and made my hair feel really dry. It’s not worth the price either especially with the bottle size. Scent is alright.

Like all Aveda products, this smells absolutely amazing. Very high end and herbaceous. My hair definitely felt very clean after and the lather was good. I really wish there was more of a description of what the shampoo does on the bottle. Given the price this seems like an obvious oversight. The packing is a huge disappointment given the price. It’s on par with any shampoo you would buy in a grocery store but at a luxury price.
