This was probably my favorite mask that Aveda put out I loved being brightmont line I love what it did and I also really enjoyed the aroma it was so soothing and peaceful inducing. I was really disappointed and upset to see the in Brighton mint line leave Aveda they've done a lot of free formulating of products and brought out some new things some of which can help replace some of the things that they've discontinued but I don't think all eliminating all of this line for what they replaced it with I don't find a great solution this mask was like a lotion consistency so it hydrated and softened as well as helped with hyperpigmentation spots and sometimes even some acne scars

Great mask to use for people with a lot of sun spot or other discoloration on the skin. I apply this and let it set for 15-30 minutes before rinsing it off. It has been effective in getting rid of freckles I started getting as an adult.

The embrightenment mask is ok. It didn’t quite perform to others masks of its kind. This was my first purchase and it will be my only one as I can find other alternatives that work better.no, I would not recommend.
