I am an avid user of Aveda products and have been for years. I've always loved the way Aveda products make my hair feel and smell. I've only just discovered this brilliant shine line and so far I feel as though it will now be a staple in my self-care routine. It's so gentle that even with my thick, curly, coarse hairI can still use it every single day and not have to worry about any stripping or drying. As gentle as it is, you never have to worry about not getting a thorough cleaning because I'm telling you my hair has that light moisturized bounce that only comes from the deepest clean. I'm just loving this shampoo! To sum up: Pro's - The smell is out of this world. (As with all of Aveda products, the shampoo is made using the company's own pure-fume™ aroma made with jasmine, rose, certified organic clove, and other pure flower and plant essences.) - Deeply cleans even product buildup (After the first use, the reduction in product buildup alone is clearly evident.) - Sulfate free (As with all Aveda products.) - Good for each and every single hair type. (So gentle no hair type is precluded from using this wonderful shampoo every single day.) - Environmentally safe ingredients. (The shampoo is made using ingredients sourced directly from nature.) - No harsh chemicals. (You never have to worry about putting any harsh chemicals on your hair.) - Can be used every day. (So gentle it's recommended for use every day.) - Incredibly restorative. (After using the shampoo, I noticed that my hair is actively healthier than before.) - Never any stripping or drying and always soft, healthy, manageable locks. (My curls are so soft and bouncy and goodbye frizz.) Cons: - Cost (While not the most expensive line of products, it's still not cheap and can be cost-prohibitive for some.) I'm not at all surprised that I've been happy with this new shampoo by Aveda. They have the most natural and effective products, and you'll never be sorry spending a few dollars more and getting them. I highly recommend this product to everyone as it is good for all hair types. I'm not sure if it's tear-free, so while I wouldn't recommend it for infants or very young children, I would certainly recommend it for kids as well.
