My fiancé is all about an all inclusive resort for our honeymoon, but I don't know if I'm totally sold on it. Have any of you been here? Thoughts/opinions!? Thanks a ton!!

Consider going on a cruise that goes to this island and visit Atlantis. Cruises include food and entertainment and you can enjoy Atlantis too

You really want to go all inclusive for this kind of thing. It can get soooo expensive there if you try doing a la carte. You can still book offshore adventures to get away from the resort and explore the island, but all inclusive will be the best value for sure.

From my experience, they have romantic restaurants that will make your honeymoon special.

If your fiance is sold on all inclusive, I'd steer clear - when you add up the restaurants, activities, etc. Atlantis gets very pricey! However, it's a great experience... maybe would be a better fit for a weekend vacation (pre-wedding-moon, or "baby-moon" or something)? I enjoyed Atlantis, but it's kind of the opposite of all inclusive.

Atlantis is NOT all inclusive, HOWEVER the Cove Atlantis which is the adults only accommodations is a great place to do a honeymoon. You have access to a private pool and beachfront - NO KIDS... which is amazing. And trust me well worth it. It get's a little pricey but if its for a special occasion than why not? I would suggest the private cabana's during the day in the pool area if you can afford it as you get your own personal staff member at your disposal and a place to relax out of the sun ie. You don't have to run back inside into your hotel room to escape the sun. In addition, if you think you might get bored here you can always take a day excursion elsewhere. Bahamas is extremely close to Exuma where are there are lots of cool things to do and see. Also Bahamas is a quick boat trip to Miami which is also fun! ... Hope this helps!!!! :) Enjoy your honeymoon wherever you go!

Atlantis is not all inclusive. There are families with babies and children all over the resort. They do have a section called The Cove that is adults only. But keep in mind that in the Bahamas adults are anyone 18 years and older.
