This is a review of a Ashley Furniture sofa and not of the store itself, as we didn't make the purchase through them directly.
My spouse and I knew right off the bat when we saw the Casselbury on the display floor that it was the one for us. It was the shape, size, color, and feel of what we had in mind.
A sectional sofa has been a long time want/need in this house. We've dealt with nothing but a love-seat for long enough and finally took the plunge and made the purchase as our anniversary present to each other. We both can sprawl out on it and let ourselves get consumed by it, with room to spare for the cats. Yes, they now have a monstrous cat bed. It came with four large throw pillows and for an added cost we got the ottoman as well which is a must. I will say, the ottoman is quite heavy at 97 pounds. That, and the fact that it has rubber padded feet, it doesn't slide on carpet well if you want to push it away from yourself to get up. We'll be looking into furniture slides for that aspect. Not a big deal. The material is plush with a semi-firm cushion. It's still in it's break-in period of 1-3 months, so I imagine it'll only continue to get that much more comfortable with time.
All in all, for the deal we got it for (and same day delivery through our particular seller), we couldn't be happier. It's an investment we've long since spoken about and are thrilled to have made it ours. The quality and feel is everything we had hoped for.
Hoooly comfortable! The material is soft and the chair glides very easily. Assembling it was a piece of cake, as it came in two primary parts with the arm pillows separate; it was VERY heavy, so keep that in mind for moving it into your home. There were only two colors to choose from, but both were nice modest neutrals that could pair well with a variety of color schemes. The storage areas aren’t the easiest to access while you’re actively in the chair, but they are good for infrequently used items (like that millionth pacifier you found behind the crib). Using the recliner feels kind of clunky, especially borderline having to slam it closed. Value wise.. it has a HEFTY price tag, and I think would’ve been much more reasonably valued at about half the current price.
Beautiful takuya vases I love the color and abstract art of the colors and the way the colors are made in this style of vase, I try to look some more of this vases
