Not my own but tried this when the hospital leased it for me when I stayed in hospital few days after giving birth. It is very easy to use, instructions are written on the machine itself so it pretty straight forward. I love that it makes very minimal to no sound at all while pumping and is very easy to clean too. After 2-3 days of pumping, I managed to increase my supply as my baby was unable to latch when he was in NICU 🤗
There are so many pumps on the market it’s quite overwhelming and when spending out a lot you want to make sure it’s going to work for you and you never know if breastfeeding and expressing will work for you!
I came across this brand by chance as the local children’s centre hired out the kits, so I thought it was a good way to try before buying. I got on with it so well that I bought one myself (although I did buy a secondhand one)
You have the option to plug into the mains or have it operating with batteries. I’m yet to use it with batteries although when Im travelling or return to work it will be handy.
It’s really easy to put together and if you only want to pump one side there is a little blocker that you can switch to a single pump and different size shells.
Cleaning and sterilising is simple and you can buy replacement parts, but all bits which come into contact with breast milk can be taken apart, washed and sterilised.
You have a cycle option and a volume option - cycle increases the amount of suction whereas volume increases the pressure of the suction so you can have a quick gentle pump to get things flowing and then swap to longer more forceful pumps for the actual expressing.
Am really happy with the product and personally recommend it
