I have been using the Patagonia Arbor Pack for quite some time, and it has grown to be one of my favorite bags to carry around while traveling. The recycled polyester fabric is light, yet durable enough for everyday use. Most of all, I also love the DWR coating; while it doesn't make the bag completely waterproof, it definitely helps in light rain and makes it pretty easy to wipe off dirt. It was even more comfortable than I had hoped. The Human Curve shoulder straps really make a difference, and the bag rests comfortably against my back, even when fully loaded with travel essentials or a laptop. Speaking of laptops, the padded, elevated compartment fits my 15-inch laptop without problems and cushions it from bumps. The main compartment is quite spacious, and I like that it opens wide so I can pack just about everything in-from snacks to a travel jacket. The small zippered pocket under the lid is convenient for keeping small items like keys or headphones within easy reach. The carrying handle is very sturdy, too. Overall, this is a simple, dependable backpack that works well for everyday life and even better for travel. If you love traveling just like I do, and wish to get a comfortable, strong, and friendly-to-nature backpack, then this is a great option.

“Patagonia Arbor Pack: A Backpack That Tries Its Best” The Patagonia Arbor Pack is, well, a backpack. It does the job, but let’s break it down by the five things that matter here. Durability: This thing is built to last—at least that’s what it wants you to think. The recycled polyester fabric feels tough and can probably handle your daily commute or a casual hike. But if you’re planning to throw it into hardcore outdoor adventures, maybe don’t. It’s durable-ish, like a good pair of sneakers, not hiking boots. Comfort: The padded straps are decent, but they’re not going to make you feel like you’re floating. After a while, you’ll notice the pack pulling on your shoulders, especially if you overstuff it. It’s comfortable enough for a few hours, but if you’re carrying heavy loads for a long trek, you’ll probably wish for more padding or ventilation. Storage Capacity: It’s got space—25 liters to be exact. The main compartment is roomy, and the laptop sleeve is a nice touch. But the lack of extra pockets or compartments is kind of annoying. It’s the “throw everything into one place and hope for the best” type of bag. Not ideal if you like organizing your stuff. Adjustability: The straps adjust, sure, but it’s nothing groundbreaking. No hip belt, no fancy suspension system—just plain old shoulder straps you can make longer or shorter. It’s fine for regular use but doesn’t have the bells and whistles of a high-end hiking bag. Safety Features: If you consider the reinforced zippers and water-resistant coating a safety feature, then sure, it’s got something. But don’t expect built-in reflectors or hidden anti-theft pockets. This pack is simple and straightforward—nothing too fancy in the safety department. The Verdict: The Patagonia Arbor Pack is a decent option for casual use. It looks cool, holds your stuff, and won’t fall apart easily. But if you’re looking for high-tech features or maximum comfort, keep looking. For everyday use, it’s solid. For anything more, it’s a stretch.

I feel like this wasn’t up to the normal quality Patagonia provides. I returned it and just keep using my orange black hole bag which I like a lot more.
