As I have a paper-like screen protector on my iPad, the slightly rough texture does wear down the tips very fast so I’m very grateful Apple provides replacement tips that aren’t at too outrageous prices, 

I bought these just in case so I haven’t yet used them, but I think it wasn’t bad for the price to get this many and they seem fairly easy to install when needed. If you use your pencil often, I recommend purchasing these in advance just in case.

Fantastic. Leagues ahead of any other smartphone/tablet pencil. It's responsive in a way I've never seen anywhere else. Very expensive, but if you can get it secondhand or for cheap, I'd say it's a great deal for artists or hobbyists alike. Paired with a nice iPad, you've got yourself a great time.
