I don't have one bad thing to say about this book. It's got great recipes most of which are what many call "soul foods." So no, being #vegan isn't about eating salads all day; it is however about eating plants (or I should say #PlantBased) which means you're eating actual foods not just salads. That's a misconception by most. The wholesome ingredients in these recipes leave you full (as most vegan dishes do by the way).
It has a variety of demographic foods, for example I saw a few Mexican dishes as well as "white people foods" - what I'm trying to say is that it has a little of everything for anyone no matter the preference of meals you like. AND different types of preparations as well, so no, not everything is a green juice/smoothie, these are actual MEALS ranging from hot, baked dishes, pan fried foods, etc. This is perfect for those who like to try all walks of #veganism, because there is more than one type of vegan eater 😉
