Anchor Brewing Company Anchor Steam Beer
I thought this was pretty gross. I was hoping the taste would grow on me, but it was a struggle to get rid of the 6 pack. The packaging is great, labels make it sound delicious but unfortunately it just wasn’t for me
My cousin actually works for this company. Their beer is pretty affordable in my opinion and also available at AT&T park which makes it the perfect beer to pair with a hot dog on a nice sunny day in San Francisco.
I love anchor brewing company beer. This particular beer is not too hoppy for those who do not like IPAs. I would say this beer is better during the Fall or winter. I would not suggest drinking this in the summer, too heavy for the heat.
I have been a fan of Anchor Steam for many years now. I lived in California in the mid-80's and tried it then. The brewing company has grown a lot since then, but I still enjoy their beers and ales. Nice body, great taste! Although I don't drink beer as often these days (enjoy wine more) when I do, I enjoy an Anchor Steam.
Very unique taste. First time I tried it I wasn't a terribly big fan. But then I tried it on tap and really enjoyed the taste a lot. After that I get to the bottles and realized it was a good beer. I'd buy again
I’m obsessed with Anchor Steam. I love this beer, and I always have. It’s not available everywhere, either, so it makes it a treat to find. It’s never failed me, though.
This was the first craft beer I have ever tasted. I would recommend it to anyone that likes lagers and also to anyone who isn’t super involved in craft beer to try out as an intro. Anyone I have ever had taste it, loved it. Pretty full bodied, yet drinkable, just talking about it makes me want one
Light and very drinkable. Not heavy at all. Really like the balanced flavor and good bubbles. Pairs great with grilled meats. Not too hoppy but still has great taste.
This is a really nice beer, and definitely a classic. The beer has a great flavor and a great bouquet. Its a great summer beer, but I also enjoy it in the winter. It pairs well with food too. It can be a little bit hard to find sometimes in the beer store, and I've yet to find it on tap.
