Review for: Alabaster (very fair skin w/cool undertone) more...
Prior to finding this product, I hated shopping for foundation. I have very, very fair skin with cool undertones. Simply put, there was not a foundation for my skin. Everything was too tan or too golden to match. I tried not to be too hopeful when I saw the release of this line, mostly because it seemed too good to be true. I doubted that I would find my shade in a stick foundation for $25. Prior to this, I had been to Sephora multiple times to be matched. The ABH stick foundation in alabaster was my first match. I was so excited that I wanted to cry. After purchasing this foundation, I fell in love.

The packaging is very beautiful. The foundation stick looks great on my makeup tray, especially when it's displayed with my other ABH products. The golden details like the inner tube and lettering are particularly beautiful.

In terms of the product itself, my only complaint is that there could be a little more. Again, this is forgivable when evaluated in terms of the price. The formula applies best when worn over moisturizer or primer; otherwise, it really emphasizes pores. I apply long swipes across my face then buff the foundation in with a dense and short foundation brush. The coverage is easily adjustable, one of the foundation's biggest merits. If set with powder and setting spray, it does not budge at all throughout a day of wear.

This foundation provides great coverage without the cakey look. To me, this product is worth more than $25. This is truly a foundation for everyone, considering the expansive range of shades and low price.

Buildable coverage medium to full ABH Stick foundation is comparable to Lancôme Teint Idole stick formula. Now here is the tea when it comes to ABH vs Lancôme Anastasia’s stick is more on the dewy side less matte than Lancôme also ABH seems like it would not be friendly for those who tend to have oily skin types normal to dry skin would benefit from this foundation. The creamy formula is heavy to the touch meaning it would have the same effect on the skin also means not transfer proof I swatched this shade on my arm after several wipes it was like I applied foundation to most of my arm so a bit goes a long way I would not recommend nothing other than applying dots or swatches when applying if you a are full coverage sister by all means glaze you’re face in this but please bake at 350• you’ll need it ok must bake or use setting powder to lock in or to cut the dewy finish more into a matte finish. I was not gagging over ABH stick foundation have using stick formulas primarily for years I say go back to the lab on this one fix an tweek a few things then resubmit so many other stick brands even low end or drug store performed better. If you’re looking for $25.00 foundation this is $20.00 worth pay the extra $5.00 for her name to be attached cause not a penny more would it be worth. Anastasia or Norvina did not put there best efforts or ingredients.

I had this product for a couple months before I eventually tried it, and I had no idea what I was missing! I've never used any other foundation stick before, and I was completely shook. It's all I've worn all last week at work now! The color match is perfect for me, and it applies SO well with my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge™. It feels so incredibly light on the skin, it doesn't crease, and the coverage is so pretty! It doesn't completely cover my hyperpigmented spots so I would call it a medium coverage foundation. I usually prefer full coverage but I'm obsessed with this foundation right now and don't even want to wear anything else at the moment. I have oily and acne-prone skin and this product doesn't make me shiny or cause any breakouts. I'm a fan for life!

Amazing light buttery smooth application and coverage . Not too matte , not too oily . Everything I was looking for when purchasing a new foundation . Not that it’s better than some of my other faves but I can’t compare it to anything in my collection now and that’s what I love about it . New day calls for a new kind of face ! Very affordable , love the shade range . Will definitely be purchasing again once I’m out !Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation

Ok, sooo... I was so excited to try this because I had been searching for a stick foundation. When I checked online it was only 25$ for an ABH product, I was sold. That same day went to sephora got colored matched and came back home. Next day woke up and did my makeup excited to try this new foundation. Preped my skin as always then applied it wore it through out the day. 1st- difficult to apply with beauty sponge or brush, it does end up streaky. ( I applied how the sales lady in sephora indicated, work from the center of your face outwards ,brushing downwards) 2nd - not a lot of coverage, but somewhat buildable. 3rd- very little product , and you need to use quite a lot. 4th - it hangs to dry patches and settles in creases and/or smile lines. I tried it for 2 wks because I really wanted to love it but no way jose. I would say its a meh type of foundation. I got a light color because it was winter and it was still too light. Nothing close to the color matches they have online for Mac NC 20-25

I love this foundation! The shade is my perfect match, which never happens. That is definitely one of the reasons why I love it, but I also love the finish. It leaves a satin/matte finish that looks like skin. It does not look like I am wearing foundation, but my skin looks nice and even. It works well with different primers, setting powders, and other powder products. Also, it does not accentuate my texture or my pores.

I will say this foundation is on the drier side. I have oily skin so that does not bother me, but if you have dry skin you might not like it. I recommend using a facial oil if you have dry skin and want to use this foundation. Since it is dry, it is a little tough to blend out. I use the Sephora Pro #66 brush and it works great. I definitely recommend using a dense kabuki brush with this foundation.

The packaging is gorgeous! Classic Anastasia with black and rose gold features. It feel luxurious.

At $25 I think everyone should give this foundation a shot!

I like these foundations they can be used as a contour shade and highlighter/concealer shades even though they have them separately but it’s okay. You gotta make makeup your own and for the price it’s really not that bad. I have mixed them for summer look to get that perfect skin tone for me I tan dark but in the winter months I’m a snowflake so yeah these are the shades I got and I like them. They are matte but with a little glow lotion underneath it’ll become dewy but if you want matte then this is good for you. And the darker shade can be used to give the face some color with brush and blend it out it’s perfect for all year round and it’s super easy. So yes I highly recommend!

I am always very skeptical on cream stick foundations. They normally dont blend out well or just crease super easily. I just bought this today and I completely fell in love with it! It is SUPER creamy and a little goes a long way! To me it is a medium coverage and adds a natural shine to your face. Even though it id a medium coverage I feel like I don't need to make it full coverage. I wore it outside (which its SUPER muggy and hot) for about 3 hours and it didn't look cakey and stayed put the whole time. It doesn't oxidize at all which is perfect! This foundation will definitely be go-to foundation for an every day look. It is super buttery and stays on no matter what!!!

This is my first ever purchase of a foundation stick (I have been hearing great reviews for the Hourglass one so I am tempted to buy that soon).

This is an interesting product. I don't feel like its definitely for people with dry skin, which I have, but with proper moisturizing before hand, it won't be a major issue. I like this foundation stick's design. The packaging is great, fits like every other Anastasia Beverly Hills products with the black packaging and rose gold lettering.

I find that when this is applied onto the skin, it's tough to blend? I've been wondering about applying an oil to my face before hand (marajuca oil possibly?) and see if it just needs a more moist surface to help be blended. It gives great coverage and is easily buildable. I find that setting this with a setting spray will give the best results.

Anastasia has a great range of shades for all skin tones and I think this product would be great for everyone.

Review for: Alabaster (very fair skin w/cool undertone) more...
Honestly, I love doing my makeup... but I hate the foundation step. Foundation is so annoying to me because most the time it's liquid, and if it's not liquid and sticky then it's oily and doesn't stick right. Anyways, I went to ulta beauty and picked out this foundation in alabaster. I loved this foundation the second I applied it. It's so smooth (just like every other ABH product) and it's so easy to blend. I use this foundation everyday and it's my life saver. The coverage is so good, and it stays on all day. I love this foundation and honestly I'll probably keep buying it because of the texture and coverage. -soph xx

I've been dying to try this foundation! How is the color matching with woman of color? I find it so hard to find shades you don't have to mix! Also, how is this foundation with combo/oily skin?

I have super oily skin, and I'm trying to find a long wearing foundation that can control the shine, and something that won't hurt my wallet. I was wondering if this is a product that would be good for me, and if you apply the product as on your skin.

Is this recommend for oily skin? Does the coverage look Cakey and feel heavy? Or does it look and feel light?
