I own ABH liquid lipsticks in the shades Dusty Rose, Hudson, Dazed, and Bittersweet.

These liquid lipsticks come in a clear tube so you can easily see the color inside. The doe foot applicator wand is on the longer side, not as long as the KVD one but longer than say the Dose of Colors wand.

I feel that the ABH formulas are pretty opaque and have great color payoff. I can usually get even color coverage with just one coat of liquid lipstick. You can definitely feel this on your lips when you apply and once it sets, its a slightly drying feeling on your lips. This formula would be terrible on dry lips, I would recommend exfoliating before if you have kind of dry lips, but if they're chapped, skip this one.

This formula doesn't take too long to totally dry down. When it does the finish is matte and transfer proof. These, like most liquid lipsticks, will wear away if you eat anything oily. The one down side to these that I found is that they don't tend to layer well. When I tried layering a touch up it kind of pilled a little.

ABH has a nice shade range of liquid lips ranging from nudes to dramatic colors. I like the ones I own, they're easy to apply and last comfortably on my lips for hours. I recommend them if you love liquid lipsticks. However, if your lips tend to be dry, you may want to skip out on these.

Review for: Veronica more...
I really love ABH’s products, especially their eyeshadows and brow products! I was hoping to be equally impressed with their liquid lipstick, but unfortunately I found that they were not the best of the best. Granted, I only actually purchased one shade - Veronica. As always, swatch or try on if possible before you purchase. The colors (once dry) are drastically different from what you see in the tube, but that’s not a reason why I gave this two stars. First, I hate the applicator. You would be better off using a lip brush or liner first. The shape of the tip makes it impossible to get a smooth line, and makes for awkward product distribution. Second, the formula is more drying than any other liquid lipstick I have tried, including Kat Von D’s and Too Faced’s counterparts. I moisturize my lips regularly and even with that, the lipstick was crinkling and crumbling on the inside of my lips after just an hour of wear. I tried applying some lip balm and then reapplying lipstick to fix it, but it looked super uneven and patchy. I was so disappointed with it that I took it back the next day :( The pigment on these lipsticks is gorgeous and I love their range of colors, but I can’t justify the headache of trying to put it on and getting it to stay on!

I think that Anastasia Beverly Hills has amazing products but I absolutely hate this. I gave it to my friend and I forget the name (pretty sure it was like "Starfish" or something lol) I always try to exfoliate and moisturize my lips so matte lipsticks don't dry my lips but this lipstick was crazy. It felt so drying and made my lips feel so uncomfortable. Also, this is not long wearing at all. It's hard to take a sip of water without it coming off. I noticed a bunch of dry patches on my lips the day after using it. I would say that this lipstick could be worth $5 but definitely not any more than that. Don't waste your money

Review for: Heathers more...
5/5 for pigmentation and 5/5 for staying power. The only reason i'm giving this product 4 stars is because it's VERY drying. I have dry lips to begin with and this lipstick makes my lips even drier. There's no moisture in this whatsoever. BUT, it's nothing a little lip balm under and over can't fix. I got this in the shade "Heathers" during Sephora's sale and it's a beautiful shade of red. I was eyeing this color ever since Anastasia came out with these, but never actually bought it. What's great about this is that it's veryyy pigmented, doesn't run or transfer, and totally kiss-proof! (I wore this during New Year's!). I had drinks throughout the night and didn't bring any to reapply. By the end of the night, the color was still vibrant and on my lips. Only the sides of my lips rubbed off a bit but it wasn't noticeable. I was pleasantly surprised at how great the staying power was. I probably won't be purchasing another shade because it's so drying, but I'm happy with the one I have now.

This is gonna sound so extra, but when I look back and think of my most disappointing product purchase this liquid lip in the shade Hollywood comes to mind. It was when I was really getting into makeup and when liquid lips were really on the rise. Everyone and their mom was raving about these liquid lips and I remember watching Jaclyn Hill apply this shade and mentioning it in her video and I fell inlovveee with the shade. So the first liquid lip I ever bought was this! When I first applied it, I remember    loving the shade (just as I knew I would) and loving how it looked. After only an hour, it was soooo gloppy and cakey on my lip. Since it was my first time really wearing a liquid lip, I figured I just applied it wrong so I tried it about 50 more after that. I thought that was how liquid lips just worked and just gave up on them until eventually recieved an ofra liquid lip in my boxycharm box in the shade pasadena and ooommg. This made me realize that the ABH liquid lips are awful and overhyped (atleast the shade I bought). I occasionally will reapply it just in hopes of it not looking like crap after 30 minutes of wear. In the future, I probably will get a tester of another shade just to see if they all do the same thing but until then, there are so many great liquid lips out there (& cheaper) :)

Review for: Soft Lilac more...
I had really high hopes for this lipstick, but sadly it was not meant to be. Here are the pros: This liquid lipstick is highly pigmented. You'll definitely stand out in a crowd. It lasts a long time. I didn't have to touch up until 6 hours after applying and that was only because I was drinking coffee. Now, the dreaded cons: Although the formula was long lasting, it never really absorbed into my lips. Which means it got all over anything that came near my mouth (that sounds dirty, but it's not). So it's NOT transfer proof at all. I have color on my hand, all over my coffee mug, etc. Thank goodness I'm wearing a dark sweater. I just feel like ABH has a reputation for high quality and this is not it.

Review for: SAD GIRL, Soft Lilac, Craft more...
I love liquid lipsticks. I exfoliate and moisturize my lips every other day so I don’t mind the dryness of them. I can try on 50 different ones and it doesn’t phase me. I’m fortunate enough to have non flaky, dry lips.

Keeping that in mind, I actually really like the formula of this. It reminds me of some of the colors in the wet n wild catsuit lipstick (berry recognize and rebel rose). I feel it’s not as drying as too faced melted mattes but it dries down completely matte.

I will say that some of the colors do apply patchy which is okay if you apply thin layers. I usually don’t have a problem. They don’t last long on the lips if you are eating or drinking a lot. I still have yet to try one that is 100% transfer proof.

The reason I gave 4/5 stars is I absolutely HATE the applicator. It is flat and long which does not make it easy to apply whatsoever in my opinion. I much prefer traditional doe foot applicators.

Well I’m glad I was able to try and buy this at a much lower price point than $20. This is long lasting but super drying!! I applied this and instantly felt the moisture from my lips being sucked out like a vacuum. The color craft is a beautiful berry color great for fall & winter and looks beautiful on my dark skin especially when you first apply. However, after a couple of hours you get flakiness from the inside and corners of your mouth especially if you’re doing a lot of talking, eating, or drinking. For all the hype this liquid lipstick was getting and for the $20 price tag attached to it, I would have thought the formula would be better. And I exfoliated and applied a thick layer of lip treatment the night before and I still got the same results.

Review for: Lovely more...
I bought this lippie a while ago. I was so happy to get it. Within 2 days I was equally happy to return it. Color went on beautifully. Then I went out to eat for date night. After a salad before dinner I went to the bath and was so embarrassed. My face looked like a baboons hind end. Sorry for the mental image, but it did. I had no literally remove all except my eye makeup right there in a public restaurant. I looked ter.
I did so want to love it that I tried it over both a primer and foundation. No improvements. I tried dabbing it, then settling with powder. Made the already gooey, dry formula more dry and gooey.
I still love many ABH products, but this was a waste.
Go ColourPop and it's cheaper and better in every way.

Review for: Vamp more...
I gave this shade 1 star because I had a very bad experience with this lippie. I used the color vamp, exfoliated and moisturized mg lips prior to applying about 2-3 coats of Vamp, it was patchy so I needed to even it out. The color was far darker on my lips than it appeared in the tube, which wasn't a deal breaker for me so I set out to wear it on a date with my husband. The lip color dried fast but still transferred quite a bit. I noticed several times and even complained to mt husband that mt lips had completely dried out and were flaking. The lip color at dinner shifted all over my face and on to my chin. I've never had a lip gloss do this to me even under the same set of circumstances. Really did not like.

I love long wear matte lipstick. How is this one? I usually use Kat Von D's brand or Sephora brand.

With fall/winter coming around I decided to pick up the color "vamp". I noticed that when it dried,it felt kind of tacky. Is that how the formula is or did i get a bad one?

Are these sold in stores like Ulta or Sephora? I imagine they would be but for the life of me I can't find them anywhere. I would like to see the shades in real life as opposed to pictures and swatch videos.
