This is very poorly constructed medium hair straightner. It does take time to heat up to the exact temp. Have to put it down to recharge heat during use. It’s made of a cheaper material as it’s showing some heated wear. The plates are shiny & smooth. Does take frizz out on the higher temps only. Would not buy this full price as I made the mistake. Not good to curl long hair.
