I love donating blood through the American Red Cross! I am currently up to my 4th donation and have earned my half gallon badge! I love being able to donate and know that I'm helping save 3 lives with every donation. I will continue to keep on giving blood as long as a I can! 💉
The American Red Cross is an amazing organization that helps people all over the world. I am thankful that they give opportunities to donate and help in any way we can. I donate blood and learned that one donation can help up to three different people! Next I'll be back to donate platelets
They saved my sons life. At just eleven days old my son had to have a blood transfusion. If it wasn't for blood donors my two year old would not be with us today. You never know how important donating can be till it touches home.
I donate blood as much as I can. This past year I wasn't able to because I was pregnant but I will be scheduling an appointment soon. One persons donation can help 3 people in need that's pretty amazing.
I already knew The Red Cross was amazing, but after seeing them on #msnbc 24/7 this past week, I am in awe of what they can accomplish. Housing, clothing, comforting, feeding the thousands upon thousands of Houstonians that were rescued and/or evacuated from their homes, in the short period of time they have to setup shop is truly something to admire. #redcross @redcross #harvey #Influenster @influenster
Giving blood at the Red Cross is something I absolutely love doing. However, there are a lot of restrictions and parameters for one's vital signs. But knowing that every donation can help save up to several lives is such a rewarding feeling!
When I was a sophomore in high school In 2010 (pictured on the left in the photo) I went on a 5 day volunteer trip throughout the northeastern portion of the US. Along the way we stopped at an American red cross to volunteer our time and make care packages for families that were displaced by disasters. I don't remember the exact location of the facility at the moment, however, the impact of this volunteer trip will remain for life.
I donate blood every 8 wks or so, depending on drive dates. I actually look forward to this now. The people taking blood are usually kind and take their time to make sure it's as easy as possible. I appreciate that. I just donated on the 19th and have another appointment for March. 😁 they have the best squeeze toys, too. Most recently I got to squeeze a brain. Lol.
I don't think people realize just how much of an impact The American Red Cross has on all of us. They're probably best known for blood drives. I've personally donated over 5 gallons to date. But they are also the first ones there when disaster strikes. They provide lodging and sustenance to families who lose their homes. They arrange shelter and safety when Mother Nature strikes at whole communities. Plus they provide emotional support for those feeling lost. They are a wonderful organization deserving of our donated time and resources.
Red cross very good organization. They help in many ways. They help us when we were in puerto rico .They helped when hugo hurricane came through and we didn't have water electricity food etc.I try to give back.
