My father is a doctor and deals for Cancer and I have grown up appreciating medicine my whole life. This organization is perfect for it and I have grown around cancer being a huge topic so I know how important it really is on curing it. I can't stress enough on how many patients need our support. I have volunteered and helped as much as I could and I encourage you to do so, too!
I really only relate to the American Red Cross in that I donate blood regularly. I enjoy donating blood as I feel like I am saving someone's life. I know the ARC does much more than giving blood. They help victims of various weather related disasters, fires, and much more. If more people were helpful and giving like the volunteers of the ARC the world would be a better place!
American red cross has been around for years they have helped a lot of people and its a great thing you can go to you're local red cross and donate blood and sometimes they will set up in different areas and you can do it that way its a really good way to help someone out
I am STILL without power, and now there is a Nor'Easter on track for my home town today. I want to thank the American Red Cross for helping those less fortunate who were impacted by Sandy's wake. you never know when something like this can happen to you, and it's so nice that the American Red Cross volunteers and donors band together and offer assistance to those in need.
American Red Cross is a very prestigious organization. I have donated lots of items to this organization because their mission is to serve others. I strongly believe in giving back and being selfless as much as possible. I have been CPR certified by Red Cross Many times and it's such a rewarding skill to have. If you can volunteer with this organization or donate.
So many good things to say about this organization. Whether it's emergency relief or collecting donated blood they're really the gold standard when it comes to philanthropy. They've always been an excellent organization and I will always donate blood whenever they call
Whenever I want to give blood, I go to Red Cross Blood Drives. The nurses there are always helpful and comforting. I have given blood about five times. The only negative is that they will consistently call and email you to schedule an appointment. I like donating blood on my own time.
They are the first responders to every natural disaster that happens and even helps families find shelter when needed. They provide services to families and direct them in the right way. They have help may people and served many people across America. Great organization!
I have donated blood through the American Red Cross and it was a great experience. They were friendly throughout the whole process and very kind. At the end of my donation I felt light headed and they acted really quick to make sure I was okay. I love the red cross and support it.
I don't know how much the executives get paid but good people that run successful organizations deserve a good salary. What I do know is that when there are disasters ...they are there and when you need blood, your life depends on them. I donated platelets for years and though the process takes almost 2 hrs, the staff always made it a wonderful experience. When I am done having children, I plan to resume donating. Lots of people donate blood but platelets takes a lot more time...more people need to do this.
