I believe that with you get what you pay for and with American Airlines it's pretty obvious right away why the plane ticket was so cheap. I've flown with AA both nationally and internationally on several occasions and while I have nothing particular to right home about the experience it is certainly good service and they get you where you want to go. The price is so low for a reason, an out of date cabin with very few amenities. Cheap is cheap and I don't complain about what I get with a good deal.
I have recently started flying with AA and I was bumped off a flight, which was super frustrating. They compensated me with money towards a next flight and reward miles. Overall, staff is friendly and seats are comfortable
American is not the perfect airline, but then again, which really is? For me, I find that American offers competitive prices on nonstop flights (a must for me) to other airlines for the destinations I've been going to. Do they charge you extra to check a bag? Yes, but they specifically tell you this (so don't act surprised). I've been delayed before while flying American (as well as other airlines) but at the same time it's a luxury to fly and there hasn't been an experience so bad that I don't want to fly them again. So, I'll continue to fly American (which offers one of the better frequent flyer programs) and carry on my bag so I can avoid an additional fee.
My parents worked for AA all my life so it’s always been my initial airline. That’s until I realized there were better out there. The customer service has usually been great, but again, my parents knew the system so I never came too close to issues. What I don’t like are the amenities, such as the lack of food choices, the seats. I prefer Delta because I always know the ride will be entertaining. AA always has layovers as well, although their flights are usually affordable. It’s a mixed bag with American, which is why there aren’t my ‘go-to’, but I moreso settle for them. I personally prefer Delta or Southwest, because they are usually my most relaxing flights
Me encanta porque la comida es muy buena y las personas son agradable espero seguir viajando con ellos viajó mucho desde República Dominicana y el precio es excelente
Ugh. So many advertisements on this airline - whether it's pre-recorded over the loudspeaker or the flight attendants trying to sell you something. The seats are also so tiny.
Service is okay..this is like my last resort option if there aren't any other airlines available this one would be my last option. Not the best and also not the worst
American Airlines is another one of my top airlines to fly in domestically. The staff were very helpful and I had an overall comfortable trip and experience with them
American Airlines was pretty decent. Nothing really stood out to me as super good or super bad. The flight was relatively smooth and I was provided the standard amenities. It was for a work trip and everything went fine.
They have affordable prices! And for being direct flights have been using this airlines for a while now. My first time I was disappointed. I wasn't sure if i wanted to fly with them again, but I gave them a second chance.
