I've flown American quite a few times. I've never had any problems with them. Their prices are on the higher end so they aren't normally my first choice in airlines because of the price.
I've never had a bad experience with AA they travel through smaller airports so there's not much to do if you have a delay, but they've always managed to get me where I was going.
American is ok! The seat are not cushiony, the legs space is small, even for a short person! Customer service is good, I never really had a problem. I don't really have a favorite part.
Not the best and not the worst. I don't go out of my way to fly with them but if they are the cheapest or only option I will fly with them without too many choice words leaving my mouth!
I had a bad experience with an American Airlines gate ticket agent leaving Charlotte,NC airport Monday (11/15/15). The attendant at first did not want to let me on the plane when priority access boarding was call, which I had listed on my ticket. Then had me double check that my luggage as a carry on was the right size, even though I just came from a connecting flight that left Tampa, FL and had no problem taking my suitcase on the plane. Then had my boyfriend check the size of his luggage just because he asked her why she was checking mine. She must of been having a bad day, but that's no excuse. My boyfriend is a black card holder with this airline and after experiencing that ticket agent we will never fly American Airlines again. I gave 2 stars because the flight was ok. #TerribleFlight
U es una buena aerolinea pero la ultima vez que la use, el servicio no fue el mejor, no dieron nada de comer y solo ofrecian agua, la actitud de las azafatas no era muy agradable........
My husband and I flew on AA down to Miami when we traveled to Jamaica, and on the way back flew from Jamaica to Charlotte NC. I was extremely unhappy with both flights. The first one, the plane was very small, over booked and crowded. On the way home, again they overbooked the flight and they MADE me check my carry-on luggage, saying there wasn't enough room on the plane. I had fragile items and valuables that I had bought in Jamaica but they didn't care. Once we got on the plane, I noticed that there was plenty of room in the overhead compartments, but the flight attendants didn't even check or try to make room, they just walked through and shut the doors. If I would have taken my carry-ons on board, they totally could have made room for them. Very disappointed with that airline.
My first time flying was with American Airlines. It was good. Just had a major delay between flights when it came to the local version of American. But other than that it was enjoyable.
My flight with american was smooth and uneventful. But i work in an airport in the AA terminal and I've vowed to never fly with them again. They're always overbooking. Not worth the risk
American Airlines is probably one of my least favorite airline companies. While they generally have the best prices available and for that sole reason I continue to book their flights, their customer service and timeliness can be really irritating. They are often missing food items from the menu and their seats are so cramped you are nearly guaranteed leg pain by the end of your flight in Coach. I've seen them charge up to $70 per seat for exit rows, which is completely ridiculous. I travel a lot and their points system barely makes up for it. I wish the world would create an AA competitor.
