I already travel with American Airlanes more than 8 times and i've never got disspointed. They're really pontual and polite. The comunication is great on the emails and the website is easy to use. The airplanes are clean, new and comfortables.
I don't recommend using American Airlines. I recently took a $1500 first-class round-trip flight to Las Vegas. It was awful! Even though food was provided on 3/4 of the flights, I could not eat any of it. American Airlines does not provide options for special diets, even for religious reasons or allergies, in domestic flights, even if you're flying first class. I am vegetarian and they could not accommodate that. I asked if they could maybe bring just an apple for me, and they told me that was impossible. Furthermore, there were no outlets in first class and no televisions. The service was horrible. The stewards didn't greet me and when I went to board first class, they told me "economy isn't boarding yet" because they didn't think I looked like first class material. Again, they didn't offer to take my coat, which is standard, so I hunted down a steward asked her to take to store it for me. She responded that this was only something they did for "first class passages" rudely without checking my ticket. A month later I flew Delta economy, and every plane I was on had outlets, TVs and polite stewards. If Delta economy is 10x better than AA first-class, you know AA has a problem
I have always had positive experiences with AA and I love that with most of my flight I get free wifi due to a joint agreement with my phone service and the airlines. Overall, I have no complaints about AA and I will continue to fly with them.
They business class service is one of the best I ever saw. The attendants are very kind and alert all the time. The economy class is pretty good as well, is enough legroom, the attendees are very kind and the entertainment service pretty good.
I love flying American Airlines. It always feels like home to me. They're so nice and the flights are always clean and relaxing. They have wonderful customer service. My favorite part is having the wifi available now! I'm definitely satisfied.
I think that they're an awesome airline to use! I either fly them or Delta as much as I can. In my opinion they're both top of the airline industry! They offer in flight entertainment with relevant movies! Flights almost never delayed either!
I am a very nervous flyer. I hate flying but do it every year. American Airlines seats were comfortable and I landed safety in the ground which is what is most important. The flight attendants were very nice and took very good care of the passengers
Premium price for fairly low level of service. As far as airlines go, you can travel comfortably and pay more, or save money and sacrifice some comfort. American Airlines seems to have missed the memo, and they offer neither value nor comfort.
Overall pretty unimpressed with this airline - the one first class experience I had with them was very underwhelming. It felt almost exactly like we were in coach, the only memorable difference being slightly more legroom. Would not recommend!
American airlines is one of the most popular airlines however their baggage policy of 40 pounds is in disadvantage with other airlines that allow 50 pounds on first checked bag.
