We loved flying with American Airlines! We don’t fly often and my husband has only flown the one time we recently went on a trip, he was super nervous and they made everything so easy for him. I would definitely recommend American Airlines for any other first time flyers
American Airlines experience is always 5 stars. The staff is friendly and helpful, the flights are consistently on time and well organized. What always shocks me is the affordability of the airline - it’s worlds above other similar priced airline and always out performs.
Just a total disappointment with American Airlines starting of with the staff and with management will never again use American Airlines it’s not like I flew alone and spent very little money it was my entire family that was traveling at the same time witch was 14 of us
Gets me where I need to go just as any airline would. When I flew by myself for the first time they did everything in their power to ease my nerves and make the process as easy as possible which was amazing. I wish I could rate higher but I’m deducting stars because they tend to nickel and dime you for everything. Bags? Fee. Want a decent seat or seat next to the person you’re traveling with? Fee, or fee for each person. Drink? Fee. Want to use overhead bin? Fee. It’s a bit much, especially with how expensive it already is to fly.
American airlines is the company that I usually use when I am flying to USA and I am also subscribed in the miles earning program ( Advantage) which is nice if you travel a lot because it gives you the chance of earning point and exchange them for free flights once you achieve a certain amount. They have a great customer service. My only complain is the food. They used to give you lunch or sandwiches in every flight and nowadays is more expensive to travel and you don't even get a snack sometimes. Putting that away, AA is awesome
American Airlines is an AMAZING airline to fly on. The plane was so clean and comfortable. The plane we flew in had personal t.v.'s each with a usb port plug for your phone to charge, and a plug for headphones. On the side of each seat they also had wall ports, to charge your phone. Each t.v. had free movies which you could choose from, and any music you would like to hear. Overall, my experience with flying with AA was amazing, OH!! and can't forget about the snacks, and refreshments they serve. Those are amazing as well!
I regularly use American to fly domestic flights. Love that you can check in on your phone and get a mobile boarding pass. The negatives are they charge for every little thing. If you want to check in your bag it’s 25$. If you want to pick your seat that’s another fee.
American airlines has not disappointed me as of yet. Although sitting in the economy is very tight, the flight attendants are always friendly and willing to help out if thet can. I rated 4 stars, however, because American charges extra if you want an aisle seat. This is completely absurd because there happens to be a lot of tall people who need the aisle seat since these airlines crammed the seats so close together and they have no leg room. To charge someone extra because they are tall is uncalled for.
Very military friendly. I always feel taken care of. They have moved towards cheaper tickets and paying for each aspect of flying that you want to use but I think that's appropriate given most airlines are using this system. Good customer service last time I used them.
Of the big main American domestic airlines, I dislike taking American Airlines the most. I end up having to do so only because the price for economy fares are more affordable than others. With the caveat that I sit in coach in mind, I find the boarding experience crazy with everyone (without status) rushing to board and the seats are cramped! I'm only 5 feet and I find the seats are cramped! I can't imagine how taller people suffer through the flights. In flight service is pretty standard compared to Delta, United, Virgin.
