the American Airlines travel company was the best I have ever traveled to today they provide daily service always offering food on the very comfortable and dedicated flight
I think I use their reward programs more than any other airline, but you get charged $75 if you book within 21 days of your trip. That's the main reason I took away a star.
The last flight I took was to San Diego but somehow they flew my bags to Phoenix instead! That was an ordeal. I've had a connecting flight in Charleston, SC 9 times in the past 3 years. 7 of those times I had to run full speed from one end of the airport to the other because of delays for mechanical issues mostly. 2 of the 7 times I missed my connecting flight. Those are ridiculous stats. They need to do a better job with scheduling and maintenance!
I don’t really like American Airlines. They don’t have free on flight WiFi like Delta and Jet Blue or TV sets. I wish they would give you a little but note since we pay so much. I definitely recommend Delta because it has been cheaper in my experience or even Jet Blue since they have everything you’ll need on flight even though it’s a bit more money. Plus I keep seeing American Airlines on the news for plane malfunctions so I’d keep that in consideration as well.
I flew to Hong Kong and back to California on American Airlines. My experience was good; the flights were on-time, well kept, and as comfortable as a 13 hr flight can get.
I was traveling for the first time by myself and my flight kept delaying. It was delayed twice before it was canceled and it would mean that I would miss my next flight. I called customer service and they were giving me a really hard time, but finally I got them to give me a straight shot flight the next morning. Took a day out of my trip however I was glad that they gave me a straight shot so I would not have to worry about missing another flight
Well besides a slight delay on getting my luggage on the wrong plane, and making me miss my next flight, it was okay. I was extremely out of breath. You know the next time you should definitely put the gate number on my ticket so I don’t miss my next flight thank you. I don’t recommend at all. Especially if you are coming back home to STL from Las Vegas bc they have a layover in Dallas and they will screw everything up. It’s just my experience.
Im so back and fourth with AA. They def have the cheapest prices out of all the airlines, but they say you get what you pay for and that's def the case here. The planes are out of date... They scare the bejesus out of me honestly. I can't even tell you how many delayed flights I've had with them... There's also been several occasions where the flights were over booked and I've had to stay an extra night in whatever airport I was stuck in!
I’m not too thrilled with the customer service that I received when I flew American Airlines. I do like how there are assigned seats so you don’t have to worry about early check in and getting a bad seat. I, however do not like the prices that American Airlines charges. Their flight attendants are not the kindest people I’ve ever been in contact with and unless I am going somewhere that Southwest does not fly, I would rather use Southwest.
I usually like to fly Hawaiian Airlines, but I was pleasantly surprised when I had to fly on American Airlines. They don’t charge for every movie or piece of entertainment like Hawaiian, AND there was more leg space. On the way home from vacation we had a rough landing, which I don’t care to ever experience again. I’d rather pay more and be uncomfortable than experience a scary flight. I like this airlines, but safety is the most important.
