The aftermarket prices for this product are insanely high! It was discontinued in favor of My Hair My Canvas Glow For It Universal Gloss, which even substitutes prickly pear oil for kendi oil. The latter is a lightweight oil, still with a few silicones and oils but fewer of both found in the Kendi Oil. I don’t doubt that the new product works as a moisturizer and heat protectant too, but I liked the slippery more heavyweight feel of the Kendi oil. It was like Moroccanoil, but with a rich, clean fragrance instead of a gourmand fragrance. If you’re looking for this oil, you’ll have to try the My Hair My Canvas product to stick with the Alterna brand.
