So even though our pup loved this food, we had to switch him. It kept giving him worms! Even with de-wormers, proper bathing and such, we were still having the issue. After reading reviews from many other sites we found it was the food. We switched to a different wet food (we mix with dry) and within a few days no more problems and haven't had any since. The rating is purely for the fact of it being reasonably priced and that he did enjoy the food. Other than that I would not recommend this product.

I have tried all kinds of dog food for my dog, from grain free, cheap store brand, high priced crap, to average middle of the road food. The only food he will eat is purina's alpo prime cut. He is so on love with it that when he eats he'll take some out put it on the floor and play with it, roll on it, and bark at it then eat it (quite the site, lol). I think you should try it out with your dog.

I give alpo wet dog food a thumbs up. It is very affordable. I also like how the beef and chicken is not crushed up. I like that I am able to get chunky bites for my dog. It makes it easier when making her breakfast and dinner. She loves the gravy that comes along with chunky bites!! Also I love being able to get a case with 12 cans in it!
I have to admit my dog is a very picky eater. He gets tired of certain dry foods quickly so I will have to mix wet food so he will eat. This wet food I have to say seems like he really likes it. I buy a few cans a week and will mix it in hid dry now and then he devours it. The price is cheaper than pedigree too
I’ve had 2 dogs my whole life, They love love love alpo dog food!!! I buy it once I run out. It’s a good price not pricey only 4-5$ for a pack. I bought it at dollar general. I would totally recommend this dog food to others!! Must try your doggy’s would love it Alpo Dog Food
If your dog can eat anything and doesn't have a sensitive stomach, then this food might work for you. Unfortunately it gave my dog unbearable gas that forced me to stop feeding it to him. He also wouldn't eat the dry kibble I mixed with it. He preferred to keep them separated. I think the canned food made the dry kibble hard. I was looked for a wet food and now I feed my dog Ollie.
Alpo is our Pit’s go-to dog-food! We mix any of the cans in with a little dry food to give her something different, and she adores it. You can find it at your local Walmart for a good value, and I definitely recommend to any Dog owners looking to try it. Our sweet girl has pancreatitis, and this stuff is one of the only brands she can eat that isn’t rough on her stomach.

I have a pitbull who is now about a year her name is Nolla she's A amazing dog she got really sick when she was a puppy and couldn't keep any food down if it wasn't for this food I think she probably would've died what we did was take this food mix it with Pedialyte put it in a medicine dropper and feed it to her that way I know it sounds really disgusting but this food saved her life
I always give my dog wet food as a treat every so often. She's not a picky eater, and the price was something I couldn't pass on. But unfortunately the food made my poor baby sick. She ended throwing up all the food. I wouldn't buy again or recommend to anyone.

This is not a very good dog food if your looking for nutrient value. This dog food made my dog have allergic reactions and made him all itchy.
Is it better to feed dogs can food and dry food, I just feed mine dry food.

My dog kept getting sick from canned food, so we stick to dry. As she's gotten older, the vet has suggested mixing the dry food with a little water to make it easier to digest.
How often do you mix wet and dry food? Or is wet more of a treat?

Once a week I'll let them have wet food. So it's more of a treat rather than their actual diet.
