My first stay in Aloft, I wouldn't say great. The interior design of it is good and all but I found it a little cramp, not all there. The colors at some of the rooms, seems too contrasty or too dark. But I like how the pool is settled. Oh I stayed in Aloft Abu Dhabi FYI
I wish I could give it zero star. It was awful. The rooms are entirely too small and not functional at all. The way the bathroom was set up and designed was just crazy. The atmosphere just wasn't at all what I was looking for. And the location of this particular one that I stayed at was terrible. It was in the very back of a neighborhood that was still under construction which meant terrible views all the way around.
I had such a bad experience at the Aloft hotel in San Antonio, TX. Online, the website shows a beautiful, up kept, CLEAN hotel and in real life there were silverfish in the shower, mildew everywhere, and just dirty room. I asked the manager to move us rooms, thinking it was just this particular room. This was not the case. Our other room was just as bad. I turned to management to help and offered me one of my two night stay for free. It was only after I complained more than once because no one had gotten back to me that this happened. Even after my stay, I reached out to management through the aloft website and all they did was redirect me back to the manager at the hotel . Horrible experience and I will never stay at aloft again
Stayed in the aloft on the levee we had a horrible experience in that particular one however it's super modern rooms are small but nice
A couple friends and I stayed here for a night and we booked online. We got a room with two beds and Online it promised us a full living area with a couch and kitchen we get there and no living area, the bathroom door when closed could not be open from the inside had no handle at all.. it was just not a hotel I would recommend going back too. Online it seemed so nice and so luxurious but it was way to pricey for what you got.
The worst hotel ever. The staff is nasty and rude. They are accommodating and ugly. The are very racist to minorities and tacky.
I stayed at the aloft hotel by BWI and was extremely disappointed for the price. The mattress was massively uncomfortable, room smelled and I felt like I would have been better off at a Motel 6.
Very cool concept I feel like the one in Arizona is kinda blah... It's set up to be a party hotel I'm not down for that
I wasn't recognized as a SPG member, nor was I accommodated with my special requests. I can never be accommodated with my special request at this hotel. The first room was dirty, and had tissue behind the mirror and a big crack in it. Dust was on the toilet tissue and a stain was on the comforter set. I took pictures so please don't deny. I was moved to another room by being asked to come all the way downstairs with ALL MY LUGGAGE AND TWO LITTLE SISTERS TO BE MOVED! No bellboy sent up to help move or anything. After traveling five hours do you really believe I want to come back and forth with luggage????? Than I was offered a free drink, like I didn't have guest with me under 21.
OH my gosh. The vibe of this hotel when you walk in the lobby is actually very cool but once you walk in to the room.....it screams college dorm. We stayed in the Cleveland Aloft hotel and not only were the carpets sticky and mildewy (isn't this a new hotel??) but the room across from us was having a MASSIVE late night party. Blasting music, alcohol, people coming and going, yelling. We called the front desk to complain and there was no change for a full hour and half. We were up until 3 AM. SO unprofessional. These people should have been kicked out but instead were told to quiet down until they finally stopped. Never again.
Q & A
If you've ever been to the Aloft Hotels, which location did you stay at.. I'll go first, Dallas, TX :]
When you stayed at an aLoft Hotel, was there a lot of noise?
Was the lobby crowded last time you were staying in there?
What is your favorite Aloft to stay at?
I would love to know how these hotels compare to other chains. Any experience?
