So I have pale skin and trying to get more color as summer season approaches so I love the Idea of self tanning while your wearing makeup because let's face it we love to have our make up on and to self tan and bronze its better to be bare faced. But you don't have to now.💕

I love using this product after I’ve been in the sun and have some color because the bronzer works well with my skin tone. If you haven’t been in the sun and you can use it also like you have been. It isn’t greasy at all. A little pricey so if you come across some coupons it’s a great way to try this product without paying the drug store prices that’s outrageously over priced. Walgreens and Target are the best places to go with your coupons. At Target look for extra cartwheel savings. You can also score done when they clearance it out for new packaging too.

I really like this product. The foundation was not great coverage, more like a B.B. Cream. However, I really liked the amount of coverage for the beach. I like a little something to help smooth skin tone while still protecting my skin with spf and STILL getting color. The pump is a little finicky to get both foundation and sunless tanner out at the same time. I found myself pressing a little bit on foundation side of the pump, then a little bit on tanner side until I had equal amounts of both.

I saw this while browsing for some simple foundation and came across this. I mean a two in one makeup is great for me cause I’m all about less time to put makeup on. I tried it and after a few days the gradual self tan pump stopped then he it came back after i ran out of the foundation. This is not a full coverage foundation but if you are looking for something quick and easy then i would go with this.

I was excited to try this product because I feel better, and believe I look better, with some color and a tan, but also want to take care of my skin. This product appealed to me because it offers the promise of getting that glow even on the days I don't want to wear any, or just a little bit, of makeup.
Following the instructions (tapping on hard surface, pressing evenly, etc.) I ran into my first two issues. It states to apply to a washed, bare face...I can see why, not wanting anything between your skin and the tanning part of the product. No moisturizer, no primer. I forged ahead however, and applied the foundation...with my fingers as instructed. I'm not sure of the benefit of this, because I love my blending sponge)(which I started using after day one) I was using the light/medium because of another review I had read about the shade. I'm glad I did. I typically go for medium or darker, but this was a pretty good, if not perfect, match. It truly is a medium coverage foundation, which is nice. It applies smoothly and evenly (it goes on a little thicker with your fingers than a blender, but both are nice). It does have a very faint self tanner scent, but it dissipates quickly so this wasn't an issue for me. It dries to a nice dewy finish. Some days I use a matte setting powder if that's the look I'm going for, but it's not necessary. It stayed put all day (wake up to bedtime) without primer or powder. Now, I didn't really notice a big (or small) difference in the sans makeup coloring of my skin after just 3 days (as stated I should), but it has eventually gotten there. What I did notice at this time was the flaky dry patches I just upped my moisturization game at night, problem solved. I've been using it every day, except for one, for 8 days and I now have a nice, glowing tan look to my face. I've got no streaks or unnatural cheeto orange hue. Overall I like the formula, the coverage, the finish, and results.

All in all I like the Almay Healthy Glow Makeup + Gradual Self Tanner. I would recommend to any of my friends and anyone looking for this type of coverage with these benefits. I'm continuing to use my blender for application, but I do have to think perhaps that's why it's not tanning on time.

I received complimentary products in exchange for my review

Used this for a few weeks and notice a slight hint in color change but nothing significant. I have oily skin and this didn’t really help it. There isn’t much coverage I would compare it to a B.B. cream. Also the pump is really difficult sometimes I’ll get the foundation but not the tanner.

I received two complimentary bottles of Almay Healthy Glow Makeup + Gradual Self Tan in exchange for my review. One in Light. The other Light to Medium. I used Light for this review.

First of all, I am pale. My Irish roots definitely show on my skin and I am as pale as the inside of an Irish potato so it was with some hesitation that I tried this product. I had fears of it turning my skin orange, making it look unnaturally tanned and dark (for me, at least) or that it would irritate my skin.

I tried this product for 7 days and will continue to use it and will buy it again. It is two products in one: a self-tanner and a foundation. It is easy to use. Simply pump the product into your hand, mix with your finger and apply to your face. (There is a bit of to do with the FIRST use only where you must thump it against a hard object, then pump it several times before the makeup comes out but other than that, it’s a piece of cake.)

It goes on evenly and has medium coverage but is not heavy on the skin. Unlike other self-tanners I’ve tried, this does not have an unpleasant odor. There is a tiny amount of scent but is barely noticeable.I was pleasantly surprised that it did not irritate my sensitive skin. It went on and acted just like any other foundation makeup.

Almay Healthy Glow Makeup + Gradual Self Tan was a very subtle change on me for which I was actually glad. If I was hoping for a deeper tan, I would have been disappointed in this product but it definitely worked the way I was hoping it would. It worked even better than I anticipated.

If you are looking for a quick tan and want dramatic results, this is not the product for you. But if like me, you want a subtle glow, I recommend it.

I have used this product for the past 7 days and I have to say I like it. First I'll start with the cons. The shade range is horrible. I first tried the medium, not realizing that was the darkest shade. It turned out looking more orange on my face and was too dark. It later oxidized. I then tried the light/medium. This shade was a little light on my skin when first applying. It seemed to match my skin tone a little better after a while, since it oxidized. I'm thinking this product may not be the best for the very fair skinned, nor the very dark. The second con, is the oxidizing. I don't know why, but it seems like whenever I use products with SPF in them, they always tend to oxidize. Luckily, this didn't make me look orange. Thirdly, I didn't see a difference after the 3rd time tan wise. I still looked the same without the foundation on. Fourth, the pump. It took a few pumps for the self-tanner to come out as while. By this time, you've already pumped out an unnecessary amount of foundation that will go to waste. Now for the pros. I loved the finish of this product. It gave me a luminous, glowy finish. It didn't look greasy or anything. I also did not think it felt greasy. Second, I liked the coverage. It is definitely medium coverage and one pump does the trick. Your blemishes will still peak out, but personally, I don't mind my blemishes showing. Third, after 7 days, I have seen a difference in my skin color. I am more tan looking and it looks natural. It doesn't look orange or streaky. Fourth, I was impressed by the wear time. It's not super long wearing, but it did hold up for a good 8 hours for me. After that it did start breaking up. It didn't really cling to my dry patches either, which surprised me. Overall, I really liked this product. It's better than the other drugstore foundations I have been using.

It’s not as much coverage as a foundation but more than a bb or cc cream. It allows my freckles to peak through which I love. It’s also creamier than a foundation. The self tanner is very gradual. No self tanner smell. This my go to every day, girl next door foundation.

I received this product for free to review purposes and I was happy with the results. It did not have full coverage but it leave a really pretty glow on you makeup. I would not but again because I have some skin imperfections that I would like to be covered.
