Product Description

All Clad is known for its superb quality in cookware and this 8-in. slope-sided Skillet demonstrates why. It combines the excellent heat conductivity of copper with the easy maintenance and beauty of stainless steel. Crafted in a unique five-ply construction, the cookware contains a core of pure copper that spreads heat quickly and evenly across the bottoms of pots and pans and all the way up the sides. Its polished 18/10 stainless-steel handle is riveted to the pan for strength, grooved on the top and rounded on the bottom for comfort, and holed in the end for hanging on a hook or peg. The long handle stays cool on the stovetop but won't be harmed by an oven's highest heat. Hand wash, as dishwasher-use will deteriorate the pan's exterior beauty. see more...

Received this along with a couple other All-Clad copper core pots for Christmas from my husband 8 years ago when we moved into our new house.
Although the literature that came with the pan said no seasoning of it was required - it does. After a proper season and washing with just hot water and no soap, this pan is as effective as my non-stick All-Clad without the worry of high temps. I can also just pick whatever cooking utensil is handy instead of searching for something that won't scratch. It washes up great! Even scrambled eggs that can be a pain to do in a regular pan.
