I have had my Alienware 15 for about 6 months now and I am mostly happy with it. The performance is great for gaming and it runs everything I throw at it without much lag. I love the way the lights look on my desk at night because they really make my setup pop. The keyboard feels nice to type on for school work too. One thing that bothers me is how loud the fans get when I am playing something intense like Call of Duty. It sounds like a jet taking off sometimes and it gets pretty hot on my lap if I am not at a desk. The battery life is also pretty bad because I can only get about two hours if I am not plugged in. It is a heavy beast to carry around in my backpack but it feels solid and well made. Overall it is a cool laptop but you definitely need to keep your charger nearby.

I would suggest though that you purchase a cooling system when you purchase it, as it tends to runs bit warm under load. The display is sharp and crisp with capabilities that easily rival any other gaming system. While a bit on the pricey side, it is well worth the cost. If you are considering a high-end laptop, this one should certainly be at or near the top of the list.
