It's all personal preference. And as another answer stated the duration of effect should be taken into consideration. But that leads back to your preference of how often you want to take pills throughout the day. There is no data to guide whether acetaminophen (tylenol) or NSAIDS (Aleve, Motrin, etc) are more effective than the other. It's all what works for you. Try one product. If it doesn't work. Try a different product. But make sure to follow the directions on the packaging and take as directed to ensure it has the chance to be optimally effective. FYI: I'm a pharmacist

Yes! I have migraines every night.. I've used Tylenol Rapid Release for years, and the rapid part is far fetched. However I recently started using Aleve and it is fast acting and knocks my migraines out of the park. I love it!
