I did not like these diapers at all. I bought them off Amazon to try since they were on sale. They are not at all absorbent. My son wore them all day and had 3 leaks so that resulted in 3 outfit changes. With Huggies there usually no leaks between changes. I’m glad I only bought 28 as I still have half a pack I don’t know what to do with. These aren’t very soft. They have a wetness indicator that doesn’t seem to work half the time. I really wanted to like these but I just can’t.

The Aleva Natural Bamboo Baby Diapers (in size 3) were one of five diapers we tried for our little one in an attempt to convert to a more natural life style. Out of the five, we were really hoping to like these. We were expecting to like these as they had all the features we were looking for: - a wetness indicator - a ruched back band and - multiple side pockets to prevent leakage The wetness indicator worked great, as expected but it was an overall poor design. We were preciously using [product:huggies-little-snugglers-size-3-diapers] and LOVED everything about them other than the fact that they weren't natural. Huggies consideres the size 3 diapers and the crawling phase size and they made tweaks in the design for size 3 for more flexibility and less leakage. I don't know if these Aleva diapers would've held up well if we were using it for a newborn but as of now, while our LO is quite active they do not do a very good job of controlling leakage. Whether it was poo or urine, it was leaking... We tried this diaper as it was recommended to us by a friend... will definitely not be repurchasing. As it is one of the only natural diapers that has a wetness indicator we may try again the next time we have a newborn. Not good for active babies at all.

These diapers are possibly the best on the market. First off, they do not bulk up, at all. I took my baby swimming in one of these diapers and unlike the major brands of diaper, it did not swell to bursting. This diaper stays trim even after 6-8 hours on the baby. These diapers contained 4 blowout level poops and I mean NOTHING got out. No leg hole staining. Even for the poop we missed for over and hour, baby's onesies were still spotless. The outermost and inner layers are biodegradable, and super soft bamboo. They work for overnight with no leaks, and no irritation. These diapers also have no scent to them. There are a couple downsides: the wetness indicator fades when wet so instead of a clear blue line, there's a vague blueness and absence of the yellow lines; and occasionally the tab on one side will have detached overnight. These diapers only come in small packages, but the price is comparable to buying the same quantities of other brands. They only come up to size 3, which is a disappointment too.
