Alaska has amazing customer service! They have the best prices and policies, I have even invested in a credit card. To improve this product I would ask that they let customers cancel flights without penalty

I have flown with Alaska for over 20 years. They have always been an airline that I have recommended to others. Even as a young traveller on my own this was an airline I always felt comfortable flying with.

"comfortable seats with power outlets"The gross difference in cost for a first class ticket from Portland to Kansas City was around $314. $554 for first class, $240 for economy. Savings of $50 for 2 checked bags, around $10 (I think) for the hot meal, $7 each per drink, snack. Net difference is around $247, or $124 each 3 hr 30 min leg. FC ticket allows use of AL lounge at PDX (none at MCI), which was OK. FC cabin has 12 comfortable seats with power outlets and dedicated flight attendant. Free Gogoinflight service is barely satisfactory. Service, food and drinks were all good on both legs. Excellent FC check in service at both ends. Boarding / exiting first with ample overhead bins is nice. Question is: Would I fly FC again to this destination? Frankly, it's a toss up.

My favorite airline to fly within the US. They have fair rates and their planes are always in good conditions. They all have screens for entertainment and service is good

Hate that they have ticket change fees — not worth paying the extravagant fee to change the time or date of your flight. However, I use them when flying to Seattle since their hub is there. Lots of flights going in and out — I’ll jump on their flights when they have a sale. Super helpful since my best friend lives up in Seattle. I’ve also used them to fly to Los Angeles once because their fares were cheaper than southwest. However, the flight was severely delayed. Looked like travelers who had earlier flights were delayed too — not exactly a full flight from the whole day so... it looks like alaska sells flights and cancels or “delays” flights so they can fly passengers all at once. What’s the point of offering multiple times when you’re ultimately going to fly everyone out on the last flight? I thought it was extremely dishonest and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I had a good experience with Alaska the first time, nothing remarkable. The second time our flight was delayed six hours due to weather and they didn’t do much to help with connecting flights

I would lump Alaskan into the middle tier airlines. The service is good and seating is good for a plane. Don’t expect anything out of the ordinary in terms of service, but I’ve never left super disappointed.

I absolutely love love love Alaska airlines. They have never misplaced my bag, they have been on time EVERYTIME and their customer services is amazing. I heard from a flight attendant (with delta) that Alaska airline pilots are the most experience pilots in the industry when it comes to extreme situations.

Great service. Took a 1st class seat from LAX to SLC and enjoyed everything about it. The food was enjoyable and the blanket and other little details made the flight seem even shorter than it really
