I've tried several Raw Shea Butter products by several different brands in the past and this one is definitely a clear WINNER! I use this Shea Butter as the "moisturizer" part of my nightly skin care routine and it has not failed me! I have VERY sensitive skin with my face being the most sensitive part of my body but I haven't experienced any issues at all with utilizing this Shea Butter which has been a pleasant surprise! I use it sparingly because I want to preserve it as long as I can! It's that awesome! LOL
It’s very hard! It does not spread easily. I do like that. It comes in a screw on lid so that it won’t pour out if it melts. I think it’s good value. but if you like creamy spreadable Shea butter, this isn’t for you.
This is perfect for dry winter skin. Pure unrefined Shea butter from Togo. No perfume or dyes. Feels great on my skin after a shower. Very affordable and works well on all skin types
I use this every time I massage my boyfriends shoulders and hands and it’s so super moisturizing and prevents your hands from causing any painful friction. It absorbs pretty quick but I would recommend giving it as much time as possible to absorb before touching any fabric to avoid any staining. Highly recommend this and I’m only halfway through the tub!
[product:alaffia-everyday-shea-fair-trade-shea-butter-unscented-11-oz] I live in Arizona in the desert so my skin gets very dry and I use this daily to help keep my skin moisturized. It is solidified and you do need to rub it between your hands in order for it to melt before applying. Once it’s on my skin it leaves a nice glow and it keeps my skin moisturized for beyond 24 hours until I shower the next day.
I love my raw shea butter, this was a new purchase. First off I love it is unscented and only containing 1 ingredient: Shea Butter. The raw natural smell is relaxing. It's certified fair trade and handmade. The butter is self is hard to remove, because of how raw it is, but once between your hands, this melts like butter, leaving your skin deeply hydrated and nourished. For someone with extreme sensitive/ Eczema skin, I highly recommend in your healing journey
My husband bought this and honestly I wasn’t a fan of the smell. I know it says Unscented, meaning no additional scents, but the natural aroma of Shea butter isn’t pleasant to me. I decided to still give it a try and in ONE use, my skin was so soft! My feet were the softest they’re ever been. It IS greasy so I apply it after a shower right before bed. In the morning I’ll apply the thinnest later under my makeup for perfectly moisturized skin. I love this product! I don’t even mind the scent anymore. We bought it at natural grocers for about $10-$11.
I don't see why I never used Shea butter before. I saw this on clearance and decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. I used it after a good shower and I feel like I'm the softest I've ever been in a long time. Normally my skin is dry and rough but it gave me a silky smooth feel with healthier looking skin. Its now the go to for my husband and kids.
I purchase this product to use as the base in a little concoction I make myself. I combined it with a few other skin nourishing ingredients and lather it on before getting out of the shower in the winter when my skin needs extra attention!
Amazing pure Shea Butter, decent price but worth it because it’s Fair Trade. This brand in particularly is truly amazing because of how much they honor not only the consumer but where they source their ingredients.
I find shea butter exactly what my skin needs when it’s particularly chapped. It not only seals the skin similar to Vaseline & similar products but it also soaks in a bit offering extra benefits for further soft & pampered skin. Absolute must for any person with particularly dry skin.
