Utilicé esta especia para hacer un rico aji de gallina peruano, es muy facil de preparar y se acompaña con arroz, quedó muy rico cuando lo preparo con este producto, lo recomiendo!
I love the taste of Amarillo hot peppers although they are very difficult to find, especially the sauces. I was able to find this in a Mexican store nearby though and was so happy!￼ This is a nice and spicy sauce, however the only downside was that it was so salty! It definitely doesn’t need the salt added as it takes away from the hot sauce itself. A great product overall though!
being of peruvian decent, i am very proud of where i come from. that being said, my house is never seen without a jar of aji amarillo. i literally put this on everything. i love this aji so much! one of my favorites
This is the closest you can get from fresh Peruvian pepper. Ideal to cook Peruvian meals as Ají de gallina or Papa a la huancaina. The flavor is spicy and delicious but not usually used as a dip by itself. For dipping, you should use rocoto paste. This one is for cooking!
