I purchased my return flight from London to Ottawa for 1275+ from Lufthansa, and Lufthansa let me pick a seat. Little did I know that at the airport I would get a ticket with no seat allocated. In London Heathrow airport there was no staff at check-ins, so my husband and I were just dropping a bag using machines. I was told to go to the flight supervisor to get a seat allocated. The flight supervisor was very slow to service customers, and when I finally got a minute of her time she told me, wait for it, that's the system flagged my ticket to be suspiciously cheap and that's why a seat was not allocated to me. I got a crew seat. Now, if you look a return ticket London to Ottawa up online, you will see that you can get they much cheaper than what I paid. Not only was I separated from my husband, he got the seat he picked when we paid for our tickets from Lufthansa , but the flight supervisor was rude. On the way back I purchased a seat next to my husband, the seat was not cheap. Next to me was a hysterical baby, and crew refused to give me another seat. Meanwhile someone else I saw just took a seat she did not pay for,and refused to return to her seat according to the crew. Despite that, doubt standard, I was still not allowed to change my seat to any free seats which were available. I do not recommend Air Canada, the customer service is very poor.

I really enjoyed flying with Air Canada. The customer service was so good, especially I was flying with my 10 months old baby, so I had more special treat, from time to time a lady come to check with me and the baby. I really appreciated that. Also, the cost of my fly was a quite resonable comparing to other companies. We didn't have any problem at all during the fly, I really enjoyed it even it was too long. Also, I liked so many other advantages Air Canada offers, like the return policy, the reimboursement policy and so many others advantages. The fly wasn't delayed too so I just arrived at the same time I supposed too.

This airline is existing just because they are in monopoly. They rip off there customers and customer service is terribly bad. Quality of there plane are bad
