Considering Aesop is a not cheap brand. This hand balm just does not appeal smell wise to me. It smells like chemicals to me. Yes it does soak it well and isn't oily but the smell does not appeal.
Who knew a hand balm could bring happiness? Love to keep this on my bedside table to use on my hands before bed. The smell is very luxe, I personally find the mandarin rind gives an almost “fizzy” layer to the scent. Price point is for sure luxury but it does make me feel happy to use as it’s a fun step in my self care. It moisturized well and my hands feel soft.
Scent is typical of the brand. The formula is thick and it doesn’t absorbs fast. It sort of sits on the skin for a little bit. It’s great to use with a glove to soften dry hands. I don’t recommend using the product then trying to touch a lot of things with it. It picks up lint and you leave behind greasy hand prints. I put it on at night for an overnight mask for my hands and it leaves it soft. The packaging is the typical metal tube. Once it gets towards the end, it’s kind of hard to get the rest of the balm out.
