We LOVE this stuff. It breaks down well (environmentally safe) and helps with day to day odors. You definitely get your money’s worth. (At least we think so!) a few of my rabbits love burrowing in it as well, although their tunnels don’t hold up whatsoever!
This is way better then pine bedding. It really absorbs, so they're is no bad smell unlike the pine bedding who gets damp and has a stronger smell.
I swear by this stuff.. I’ve used it for years with my bunny and it really gets rid of any odor. I’ve tried other types but the ultra is the best in my opinion. With other litters there is still some odor. Even with the non ultra version I can’t still sense a bit of odor, albeit not as much as I’ve smelled with other brands, but the ultra absorbs the odor completely. People don’t even know I have a rabbit until she shows up to say hello. The only reason I took away a star is that I need to use something else underneath to absorb liquid right away. My rabbit likes to leap from her litter pan straight out of her hutch.. so it doesn’t absorb her urine quite fast enough to avoid a little splash and it would wet her feet when she jumps. It kind of sinks to the bottom and then she digs her feet causing the problem. Otherwise I recommend it for odor control and how soft it is on their paws.
This product is a must, it is a bit pricey but completely worth the price. This bedding is super soft and my hamster loves it.
Very great bedding! Keeps the animal comfortable and keeps the smell down! It is very pricey tho :/
I swear by this stuff! I have a guinea pig and a rat in a one bedroom apartment and have been complimented on how it never smells like rodents! The only con is it is a little pricey though I've found petco I the cheapest distributed! I love all the different colors and would definitely recommend to owners of small pets!
I have used this for years for my rabbits. They are litterbox trained so I line the boxes with Carefresh and put fresh hay on top. With the Ultra, I don't have the odor issues that we had with the regular version. I have been lucky that my rabbits don't eat this product!
I use this bedding for my guinea pig, the bedding before this had way too much dust and stank quite easily. No problems with this brand. The white color seems to be the only one that has no smell issues. Tried the purple one and oddly it did not last long enough.
I use this bedding in my rats' litter boxes. It is absorbent and free of debris that can cause upper respiratory issues in rodents. It also goes a long way, since it expands when removed from the packaging. It doesn't absorb odors as well as some other products, but I continue to use it because I feel it's the best all-around bedding.
Great product for my Roborovskis when I had them. It was very absorbing and didn't produce any harmful debris that would make them sick. It was easy to clean up as well.
