AbeBooks is an amateur website with no oversight and incompetent staff. I was shipped a $200 book via the cheapest possible method, resulting in the book being thrown on the ground in front of my house and lost/stolen. AbeBooks made no effort to use signature-on-delivery. When I contacted them, the representative was indignant and uncooperative.

Seller pulled a bait and switch and sold me the wrong edition of a book, an edition that has errors and a much lower price point, but they had the cover of the correct edition as the thumbnail. I reached out to support, and Abebooks.com told me that they couldnt do anything. This company does not hold their sellers accountable, nor do they care when the sellers they allow to use the platform scam customers. Beware!

If this book is in good condition as listed, I would hate to see one that is listed as poor condition. There is water damage to it. The pages are crinkled. The previous owner had underlined sentences and the water made the ink run making it hard to read. AbeBooks wants me to pay to send it back. In the garbage this will go. I learned a lesson. If it's too expensive to buy it new, don't buy it.
