2 reviewsAs an often overwhelmed single parent, I find A Simplified Life to present realistic, feasible solutions to make life more manageable. I love that it doesn’t rely on out of reach solutions that would make you blow the bank, but instead suggests steps that the average person can take!
If you’re a fan of #MarieKondo, you’ll love Emily Ley. And even if you’re not, you’ll find value in this book.
A Simplified Life is all about clearing the clutter from every aspect of your life — your home, your wardrobe, your finances, your schedule, your technology — so you can breathe a little easier. Heading into a new year (and a new decade), this is the perfect time to pick up this book.
Ley’s tone is conversational and easy-to-read. I cranked through the whole book in one sitting, though I’ve come back to it several times. Each chapter has a different focus, which aspect of your life to simplify. And she gives easy (much easier than the Kondo method), practical techniques for decluttering and appreciating what you have. Highly recommend!
