This is my go to place for huli huli sauce....if you are obsessed with all things Hawaii...head over to 99 ranch and look for their pacific islander section to get exclusive items only found on the island!
I'm lucky to live right next to a 99 ranch. they have cheap veggies including exotic fruits and veggies and spices you don't normally find at other locations. I'm part Asian also, so this is where I shop for Asian groceries and snacks and cuts of meat that are usually not found at lucky's or safeway.
When I was younger I used to like going to Ranch Market to buy Asian snacks that I could not find at other super markets. Staff was always friendly and from what I remember the stores were pretty clean.
99 ranch markets are what i grew up with as the standard of chinese/taiwanese markets. they often have smaller stores like bakeries and beauty kiosks inside. good place to stock up on rice and other asian staples for cheaper then your regular grocery store (the single isle)
I like shopping here because there are so many fantastic products with tons more to try! But I don't particularly like going in because there are occasionally cooked dead ducks hanging in some windows.
The meat is really cheap and still high quality. This grocer also has products from a wide variety of different Asian countries, so it's good for when you want to find something interesting.
This Asian supermarket has become my go store for grocery shopping. They have a wide variety of food, perfect for making any Asian cuisine. Not to mention their fresh produces and clean and welcoming environment. I always enjoy my shopping experience there.
Ahh 99 Ranch Market, you always smell the same and you're usually crowded. Nevertheless, this is the place to get a great deal on Asian groceries, meat, and produce. Be warned the fruits are not the best...the veggies are usually pretty on point though.
Finally, on Asian grocery store on my side of town! So many things to try, so many sauces and dumplings. Always crowded but well worth shopping here. I always find something new to try. Also love the deli and food area. to pick up some good take out
An always go to when I am in California! A wide range of products and a cute gift shop, usually Shisheido too! Delicious roll cakes. Never know what you may find at this asian market
Q & A
Where is this place located at?
Do any of you ever just find yourself browsing for more then just an hour?
It's a Taiwanese market that sells food and snacks. On sale days, there are great snacks for cheap.
Has anyone ordered from them online? We moved to a state where 99 Ranch Market has no locations, and I'm thinking about placing an order. Wondered what others' experiences have been. Thanks!
