At my work this 8ft. fiberglass ladder goes for $179. I got it during a sale for $79. Can't beat it. We have vaulted ceilings and need to occasionally change a battery in a smoke detector that's 12 feet high. I knew I needed a ladder before the battery died in it and it's left chirping without a way to change it out. I've also used it for putting up the outdoor Christmas lights. It's a ladder. It does what it's supposed to. It's sturdy and I'm sure it'll last me a lifetime. It's one of those things you don't need until you need it. Might only be a couple times a year, but it serves it's purpose well. Werner is a brand you can trust. I've sold many of them and seen very few with damage. I'm happy with it, especially for the price I got it for.
