The granules weren't messy and I was able to not affect the pollinators with them. NOTE: I used because my roses were not blooming - and I cut off any that subsequently bloomed because this product is systemic - toxic to bees etc. It is what I needed to get rid of black spot and another one that caused total leaf drop, as well as a terrible grub that loved the roots. This year I won't use it, the residual effect will get me through the timing. * Lost one star - They could do a better job of flagging that the systemic aspect is toxic to bees but with thoughtful use, timinig, care you can cure a lot of ills.

The ONLY rose plant food I use. This has made my front yard rose bush grow extremely big and now it’s actually taller than 5 feet. The roses are huge and smell so beautiful. I’ve used this on different types of roses including Knockout, Drift, Peggy Martin, Celine Brunner, etc. and they all have responded incredibly to it.
