I did pretty extensive treadmill research before purchasing, looking at many of the known brands in the entry treadmill space (<$3k), because I’m putting an average but not extensive amount of miles on it. The first clue that I think is worth pointing out is the weight of the tread—this thing is heavy which really speaks to the strength of the frame. The chp rating of the motor is crucially important, and the horizon really outshone competitors here, which was critical for me. The width of the belt is fantastic, and the belt cushion really lived up to the hype. This tread is really the perfect middle ground for both incline training & running, which is perfect for me. My only tiny complaint is that I am getting a little bit of shock, but when I use an anti-static bracelet it completely solves the problem. Overall I highly highly recommend this tread for an entry run/incline tread with solid fundamentals without the gimmicks and large screen. Great value.

This treadmill is really great for its price! It was even quieter than some of the more expensive treadmills I’ve tried in the past. Don’t expect no noise though, it IS still a treadmill and unfortunately you’ll never find one that is “quiet”. It’s easy to use and I like that I can use my own phone or iPad with it. Though I find if my iPad is in the tablet holder and I run it does bounce and make a little noise so I usually place my iPad on the counsel. I’ve had this treadmill for over 8 months now and I’m an active runner and walker, I really put it to use over this last winter. It’s held up great with incline and speeds. My only issue is we had a random problem where the treadmill would just cut off mid run. We had a warranty on it do someone came out and replaced the counsel/wiring but mentioned it seemed like a random occurrence. I have noticed it since so if that doesn’t happen again I’ll note it as a fluke and very happy with this treadmill.

I love my new Horizon 7.0 Treadmill!! The treadmill is so incredibly smooth while increasing and decreasing both the speed and incline. It is also exceptionally quiet for a treadmill. The assembly of the 7.0 was very quick and painless, which is amazing!! The speakers are not the best, but definitely adequate for working out. The absolute most amazing feature is the hand dials for increasing speed and incline.
