My 8 year old son got this for his birthday and its a big win for our family. I initially thought it was going to be another fad toy that didnt work how it says but was i wrong. It is so easy to use. Not hot or hazardous like i was worried about. The material is super easy to melt and he loved creating the cactus plant from the book included. The pages in the book are like a plastic material and contain stencils to create different things. There is no noise from the pen and it is easy to charge and lasts for quite a while. It is easy to maintain as the glue easily peels from the pen if it gets anything on it. My only fault is that each design needs loads of the strands as they dont go a long way so it becomes an expensive hobby.

We absolutely love the 3Doodler Start+. It’s very easy to set up, and my 7-year-old picked it up quickly and has so much fun creating with it. It’s lightweight and portable, which we love because we take them with us to our older daughter’s volleyball games so our younger two kids have something fun and creative to do. We loved it so much that we ended up purchasing a second one so two kids can play at the same time without fighting over it. It’s a great screen-free activity that keeps them engaged and creative.

We are obsessed with the 3Doodler! It is so easy my 7 year old has had a blast making all sorts of things. It is designed so simply with one on off switch and one start/stop button. I love that he can’t mess with any settings and mess it up! I also love that it doesn’t get hot on the outside but heats up the filament so quickly!
