This is a great set of tools if you are in the market. The rake is easy to assemble and works effectively. They are light weight and the grips are comfortable. The rolled over foot steps make digging thorough hard dirt much easier

Solid quality products. The shovel dug through cold, hard clay easily. Normally, it's much more difficult to dig holes in Georgia clay. The rake worked well raking upthe last bit of leaves of the year. Overall they work really well. We are suppose to get ice and snow this weekend so hopefully the flat shovel will help it with that

My dad used Ames products as a matter of fact after he passed I got.one of his shovels to keep. Im very excited to have my own set now. The Ames company has been making shovels since 1774. They even made shovels for the war. The shovels are quality made products with lightweight fiberglass handle that is weather resistant and has confort step that provides secure foot placement. The pound point is perfect for digging and shaping holes while the square point is great for spreading and scooping material. The rake is very sturdy steel and only required a nut and bolt to assemble. I love my 3 piece landscaping tools from Ames and im sure I will enjoy them for years to come. I would definitely recommend this USA made product
